An Opening to remember
A record crowd turned out for the Opening of the 25th Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival, with over 200 people attending. This year we were fortunate to secure the Director of the Art Gallery of South Australia, Nick Mitzevich as the judge for the John Shaw Neilson Acquisitive Art Prize competition. Also there on the night were Hamish Balnaves, representing our major sponsor, the Balnaves Foundation, and SA’s Minister for the Arts, Jack Snelling.
