“Blue Feet” an exhibition by illustrator Marsha Wajer, showcases those gorgeous, goofy dancers…the Blue Footed Boobys. Why do they love to dance? Why do they show their feet off all the time? Marsha has created a delightful series around these (increasingly) rare and cute birds. It's full of fun, it's full of colour and has iguanas, octopuses and stripey hats included! “Moo and the Sleepy Secret” (illustrated by Marsha) will also be read aloud by the author (Catherine Clarke) out in the garden. Followed by a drawing demonstration where the kids can join in. Crayons and paper provided. Meet the Sole Sisters Bianca Richardson, Melissa Horton, Kristyn Jones, Anna Mitchell and Julia Reader. For these five creative women, the 'Sole Sisters Collective' has been the perfect outlet from "the real world' as they combine, create and collaborate to produce unique and inspiring art. STILL is the fifth exhibition for the group and begins with a photographic image. Five photographs interpreted by five artists using their own individual style and flair. 2018 ANNUAL PENOLA COONAWARRA ARTS FESTIVAL DESIGN PRIZE

An invitation is extended to celebrate creativity and excellence by designing a poster to be entered in the 2018 annual Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival Design Prize. The chosen design will be used for all promotional material for the 2019 Arts Festival. The winner will receive $1000 sponsored by the Penola and District Business & Tourism Association.

Artisan Julie Frahm uses a flame-working technique to make the most beautiful beads from assorted gin bottles. She has created a range of truly unique jewellery from these beads. There are necklaces made from Bombay Sapphire Gin bottles, earrings made from a Hendricks Gin bottle, and all sorts of other gin bottles have been used to create this one of a kind jewellery. The exhibition will be on display until June 30, Thursdays to Sundays. PORTRAITS OF PENOLA WOMEN – THEY CAME FOR LOVE

A stunning exhibition of photographic portraits and stories of 8 women who came to live in Penola for love. The women come from places as far awayas the USA, Philippines, Italy, and as close by as Mount Gambier, Roxby Downs, Adelaide and Melbourne. All contribute to the diversity, depth and richness of the town and region. The portraits have been taken by the talented Christy Radford, of With Love Photography. The exhibition, Portraits of Penola Women, is an important way for the Terra Rossa CWA and the local community to celebrate our local women. Be prepared to be captivated and surprised. Rossy has come out of a 2 year painting hiatus to present an exciting new collection of works, alongside these will be a retrospective collection of Rossy's work from private collectors, covering earlier work influenced by farm life-think wonderful chooks, naughty sheep, blue cows and many often-amusing rural scenarios. After a move to Melbourne her paintings focus more on people, mostly women of all shapes and sizes, different emotions and palette colours.
